BENTZIN 1896 Holz-Kamera 60x60

Ebenso riesige wie extrem seltene BENTZIN Holz-Kamera, für das Format 60x60.

Laut den uns zur Verfügung stehenden konsultierten Experten vermutlich nur 2-3 Stück weltweit existent. Davon soll angeblich eine in Hamburg stehen bei einem Privatsammler und die andere hier bei uns.

Vor ca. 3 Jahrzehnten wurde ein ähnliches, aber kleineres, Exemplar im Agfa Ludwigmuseum vorübergehend ausgestellt.

Absolut museal.

Die Kamera wurde um 1896 von Bentzin in Görlitz gebaut. Beschläge aus Messing.
Die Bewegteile des originalen Untergestells sind aus Eisen.

Balgen ausgezogen Länge ca. 2 Meter, Höhe mit Gestell ca. 2 Meter, Front ca. 90x70 cm.

Die Kassette für das Fotopapier ist komplett mit Andruckplatte und Rolladen in Funktion, eine Mattscheibe mit Rahmen haben wir als Sonderanfertigung produzieren lassen, da die ursprüngliche Mattscheibe irgendwann zerbrochen ist; die neue Mattscheibe mit Rahmen ist dann im Lieferumfang enthalten.

Das auf der Kamera befindliche Objektiv ist reine Dekoration der Kamera, es wurde nicht zu dieser Kamera gebaut, es leuchtet 60x60 nicht aus und es ist NICHT im Lieferumfang enthalten.

Wenn Sie die Kamera aber nur zu Dekorationszwecken möchten, können wir das Objektiv gegen Aufpreis mitliefern !!

Kamera wie Untergestell sind nicht etwa in dem (heruntergekommenen) Zustand, wie man es bei über 100 Jahren Alter erwarten kann, sondern wurden sorgfältig und vorsichtig vom heutigen Besitzer in monatelanger Arbeit gereinigt und überholt.

Exquisites Exponat für die Eingangshalle einer Bank, Versicherung, naturwissenschaftliches Institut, Kunst- oder Photogalerie etc. !

Aufgrund von Grösse und Gewicht INNERDEUTSCH kein Paket-Versand. Wir liefern die Kamera zusatzkostenfrei per Transporter bis an Ihren Aufstellungsort (ebenerdig).

BENTZIN 1896 wooden camera wood 60x60 rarest

Equally enormous as rarest historical BENTZIN wooden large formate camera, for 60x60cm.

Unique chance:

Imagine the largest german made antique camera in the visitor centre or entrance hall of your bank, insurance company, lawyers office, scientific institute, art or photographic gallery !

What could this near to unique german made camera all do for your company image !!

It was built around 1897 bei Bentzin in Görlitz/Germany, wood with brass Fittings, the special original stand wood with metal movement parts.

According to the historical experts we could consult, only 2-3 pieces have probably been produced.
The second known specimen is said to stand in a private collection in Hamburg. To our knoledge, no museum owns one.

A smaller specimen was exposed about 30 years ago temporarily in the Agfa Ludwigmuseum.
The cassette for the photopaper sheet is complete with pressure plate and rolleaux and functional.

The original screen was broken or lost at some time. So a matte screen with wooden frame has upon our behalf been custom-made; and will be INCLUDED with the camera.

The lens mounted was not originally delivered with the camera, but is just shown for decoration. It does not fill 60x60 cm and is NOT INCLUDED with the camera.

Nevertheless, if you want the camera just for decoration / exhibition purposes, we can include the lens against a surcharge !

Camera and stand are not in the (bad) condition, that a 120 year old camera is expected to be in.
All parts were carefully cleaned and polished in month-long work by the present owner, about 30 years ago.

Camera with bellows fully extended about 2 metres, height with stand about 2 metres, front about 90x70 cm.
